Bernd Friberg began his career at the Gustavsberg workshop under Wilhelm Koge, and throughout his life produced many works on the potter's wheel himself, earning him the nickname ``The Hand of God.'' Along with Lisa Larson and Lindberg, he is one of the leading master craftsmen in Northern Europe, produced by the Gustavsberg Pottery. This work is a mini bowl with a dark brown glaze typical of Freeberry, and is the perfect size for a matcha bowl. It seems to have been made in 1958 because of the stamp ``''. The box is a match.
