≪Size≫ (Please note that there may be slight differences)
Width 20.5 x depth 9.5 x thickness 2.5 cm
≪Condition≫Considering the era, it is a very beautiful item.
≪Description≫
The majestic scene of a junk boat floating on the waves of the Qinghai is depicted using Sagara embroidery, which creates a three-dimensional pattern by connecting each stitch and ball knot. Although it is probably over 100 years old, it remains in excellent condition with surprisingly little damage.
The clasps in three places are also wonderful, with the main one being Mihofuji inlaid with silver on iron ground, and the back side having a silver bellows tip with a Taya pattern metal fitting carved into a square silver (shibuichi) ground, and the back of the inner lid, which may seem plain at first glance, but it is compounded. It is decorated with splendid metalwork, such as chrysanthemums made of different copper alloys and inlaid metal fittings connected with swastikas.
