≪Description≫
The works of two major Scandinavian artists fit perfectly together, so I decided to use it as a matcha bowl for a tea box.
Bernd Friberg was a potter who began his career at the Gustavsberg workshop under Wilhelm Koge, and earned the nickname ``God's Hand'' by creating many works on his own potter's wheel during his lifetime. Along with Lisa Larson and Lindberg, he is one of the leading master craftsmen in Northern Europe, produced by the Gustavsberg Pottery. This work is a mysterious work that is reminiscent of the glaze of traditional rabbit glasses, but also has a modern Scandinavian feel. It is the perfect size for a tea bowl to be placed in a tea basket. It is said to have been made in 1965 and is stamped with a "G", indicating that it was made during its most productive period.
The bowls by Gunnar Nylund, who led the Rorstrand company in the mid-to-late 1900s, have a unique shape and a wonderful blue color, making them a masterpiece that makes the matcha stand out well. This one has a crack inside the hill, but it is probably from a family sale and there are no major defects. A regular tea box and jujube-sized tea utensils can fit neatly into it. The calm color of the treasure bag is made entirely of silk, including the strings and splits. Also included is a pure silk partition and a fir box.
